Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both set to offer “no less than” £59m for Florentina star Dusan Vlahovic in January, according to reports.

The 21-year-old has made a name for himself over the past couple of years. He joined Florentina in 2018 from Serbian side Partizan.

Vlahovic has been a first team regular for the Serie A side since the start of the 2019/20 campaign.

Man United v Arsenal: The great rivalry is relevant once more

The attacker scored 21 times across all competitions last season and his great form has continued this term.

He currently has 14 goals from just 16 games for the Italian side across all competitions in 2021/22.

Vlahovic has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham in recent months. It has been reported that he is rated at around £66m.

Juventus are also said to be interested in the Florentina star. Italian outlet Calciomercato are reporting that Arsenal and Tottenham are set to make bids for Vlahovic in January.

They state that the North London rivals will offer “no less than” £59m for him during the winter transfer window.

Elsewhere, Arsenal face Manchester United in the Premier League on Thursday night.

Ahead of that clash, Ian Wright has suggested that United could blow away the Gunners:

“I think people have recognised, especially against Newcastle the other day – Partey did 13 passes towards Martin Odegaard and people are starting to realise that he’s our main guy,” Wright told Ringer FC’s Wrighty’s House podcast.

“If you stop Partey then I feel like, ‘oh my gosh,’ with a Manchester United team at Old Trafford who probably won’t play with three in their midfield because they will want to go at us – there’s an energy.

“People have got to understand that there is a new manager bounce, whether it goes into games or whether it’s on the training ground – because you know there’s a new manager there.

“You want to make sure you’re one of the people who, when he comes in, he goes, ‘oh I like him,’ so everybody gets a fresh start.

“You look at Manchester United’s team and the players they are able to put out there. With a manager that is really focused on team shape, pressing and everything they’re going to do.”
