Arsenal are keen to tie Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette down to new contracts, according to reports.
The pair scored 35 Premier League goals between them – and 50 in all competitions – last campaign as the Gunners missed out on fourth place by just one point and reached the Europa League final.
Instead, the report adds that the Gunners will offer ‘hefty bonuses for achieving agreed targets’ such as qualifying for the Champions League.
Other bonuses would be paid out if they scored a certain number of goals and for winning the Europa League or FA Cup.
The strike duo earn around £180,ooo a week in wages each with Aubameyang having two years to run on his deal, while Lacazette has a contract until 2022.
Head of football Raul Sanllehi and managing director Vinai Venkatesham are keen to avoid the Aaron Ramsey situation arising again where a talented player is allowed to leave for nothing.
