Arsenal youngster learning from ‘world-class strikers’

Arsenal’s “world-class strikers” are helping Eddie Nketiah improve his own game.

Nketiah made his first-team debut for Arsenal in September, coming on as a last-minute substitute against BATE Borisov in the Champions League.

The 18-year-old truly made his mark a month later however, netting twice in the Carabao Cup against Norwich.

The striker has credited Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette with helping aid his development at the Emirates Stadium. What about Danny Welbeck?

“I’ve been watching their movement, how they finish in front of goal,” said Nketiah. “Everyone has a different style, so I’m just trying to pick up a few things from them.

“They’re world-class strikers, so to be able to train with them and learn from them is a great feeling. I just want to keep working hard by learning from the best.”
