Asensio’s agent offers update over Real star’s future
Marco Asenio will stay at Real Madrid, according to the Spain star’s agent.
The attacker has been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United after becoming disillusioned over the amount of playing time he was given by Zinedine Zidane last season.
It was claimed last month that Liverpool had lodged a €180m bid for the Spain star and that Real were studying the offer.
But Asensio’s agent Horacio Gaggioli , who recently pedalled talk of Madrid receiving two offers “up to €150m” for Asensio, now says the midfielder is staying at the Bernabeu under Julen Lopetegui.
Gaggioli is quoted by Calciomercato as saying: “Marco won’t move, he’ll stay with Real Madrid.
“He’s improving all the time. Next season I think he’ll be very important in Madrid.”
