Aston Villa, Wolves target Rashica ‘set to be sold’ this summer
Premier League sides Aston Villa and Wolves have reportedly been handed a boost in their pursuit of Milot Rashica.
The 24-year-old forward was heavily linked with a move to England last year, although it never materialised.
Aston Villa were rebuffed in their attempts to sign the Kosovan international.

But they could have more success this summer if rumours are to be believed.
According to German source Bild (via Goal), Werder Bremen are willing to sell Rashica in the next transfer window.
They’ve become frustrated with the player’s performances this season and are aiming to cash-in by selling him.
He’s played 16 times in all competitions without scoring this term. While he has chipped in with five assists, the lack of goals is concerning for the German side.
The situation means he should be available to Aston Villa and Wolves for a reduced price.
Rashica is currently valued by Transfermarkt at £10.8million. It’s not yet clear how much Werder Bremen would want for him.
Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool were interested in signing Rashica last year.
They had sent scouts to watch the attacker, which was confirmed by Kosovan football president Agim Amedi soon afterwards.
The Anfield side eventually opted for Wolves forward Diogo Jota instead.
The Portuguese international has been a success, scoring ten goals in 21 appearances so far this season.
Liverpool fans will be happy that their team opted for Jota instead of Rashica, given the difference in their current form.
However, Rashica is highly-rated in Germany despite his recent struggles.
In the 2019/20 campaign, he bagged goals against the likes of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg to announce himself in Europe. Rashica ended the season with eight goals and seven assists in 28 league games, making him one of Werder Bremen’s most valuable players.
The summer transfer window is shaping up to be a busy one for Aston Villa.
Dean Smith’s side have been linked with a permanent move for Ross Barkley. They’re thought to be targeting Sheffield United’s midfield star Sander Berge as well.
One negative for them is the potential loss of Jack Grealish. He is a top transfer priority for Manchester United, with Manchester City also in the running to land him.
