Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has branded Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke “such a clown” over his recent comments.
Watzke laid into Aubameyang over his January 2018 departure from the Westfalenstadion, when he joined Arsenal for around £57million.
The German goaded the forward and suggested that swapping Champions League football for a place in the Europa League with the Gunners must have been money-driven.
“Aubameyang, who plays great at Arsenal, will probably be warm-hearted when he looks at his bank account, but on Wednesdays, will be saddened when he has to watch the Champions League on television,” Watzke told Suddeutsche Zeitung.
The striker responded on Twitter by branding his “a clown”.

That takes Aubameyang’s tally for the season to 11 goals in nine appearances. Great stuff.
