Balotelli agent claims he is now worth £88m!

Mario Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola claims that his client is now worth £88m so would make an excellent free transfer signing this summer.

Balotelli has spent two years with Nice and has scored an impressive 39 goals in 59 appearances for the French club, though he has only scored once in his last five Ligue Un games.

The Italian scored only four goals in 28 appearances for Liverpool before joining Nice, but Raiola believes he is once again ready for a big club (and presumably, a big salary).

“Mario is ready to return, he has matured into one of the top ten strikers in the world,” said Raiola.

“In Italy he’s number one. He’s worth €100million (£88m), but he’s on a free transfer and is therefore a bargain.

“I’m negotiating with many clubs in England and in Italy. I’ve spoken with Juventus, Roma, Napoli and Inter.”

One man who may dispute Balotelli’s status as Italy’s number one is Ciro Immobile, who is Serie A top scorer with 26 goals so far this season; Balotelli is the eighth top scorer in France – though he does form one-third of a pretty prolific trio.
