Hector Bellerin is “torn” over whether to leave Arsenal for Barcelona this summer, according to Denis Suarez.
Bellerin has long been linked with a return to Barca, who he left in 2011 to join the Gunners’ youth ranks.
He has since firmly established himself in the first team, making 114 appearances and winning two FA Cups in north London.
But the rumours regarding a return to the Nou Camp continue to surface, with Barcelona eager to find a long-term successor to Dani Alves at right-back.
Sergi Roberto played more games than any other player in that position this past season, but Bellerin is thought to be a target this summer.
Denis Suarez hopes to link up with a player he is already teammates with at international level with Spain’s U21s.
“I have spoken with him, and on the one hand he’s keen to come,” he told Radio Catalunya.
“On the other he feels tied to Arsenal so he is torn, but I hope he can come.”
