Barcelona and Juventus ‘make loan approaches’ for Aubameyang
Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been subject to loan approaches from both Barcelona and Juventus.
The forward has not featured for Mikel Arteta’s side since early December the Gunners were beaten by Everton.

A number of disciplinary issues saw the club captaincy stripped off Aubameyang and the Gabonese forward has been made the train away from the first team.
The club are currently on a warm weather training camp in Dubai, a trip that the 32-year-old has not been included on.
It was reported earlier his week that the club had received offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia to take the forward on loan but the player is reportedly keen to remain in Europe.
However, The Athletic is now reporting that two major European sides, Barcelona and Juventus, are now interested in bringing the player to La Liga and Serie A respectively.
No bids have yet to be formally offered to the club but all parties are in discussions.
The discussions are likely to be revolving around the players huge £350,000-a-week wages.
The deal could also be complicated by the uncertainty surrounding the future of Alvaro Morata. The Spaniard is currently on loan at Juventus from Atletico Madrid but is reportedly wanted by Barcelona.
Therefore, if Juventus can cut his loan short that could see Morata make the move to Barcelona and give the Italian side the advantage in the race for Aubameyang.
However, if Morata is to remain in Turin, then that could see Barca push harder to bring the Gabonese forward to the club.
Whilst speculation continues to grow surrounding the future of Aubameyang, former Arsenal man Ray Parlour would like to see the player be given another chance.
Speaking to talkSPORT, when asked if Arsenal needed Aubameyang, Parlour replied: “Of course they need him.
“But you’ve also got to show your dominance as a manager and say you can’t be doing stuff – especially when you have a young team.
“As a captain you’ve got to set a good example, which is very important.
“I’d look up to Tony Adams back in the day and he set the example – and not by going to the pub by the way – but by being on time and making sure when you wear that shirt you play for the team.
“Stuff like that you learn as you go along.
“But the young players will look at that and see he’s turning up late and not doing this and will be thinking; ‘Can we do that as well?’
“It’s not a good look for Arsenal Football Club.
“Arteta’s come down strong on him and now it’s all about the reaction, for me. I’d give him another chance because he’s that good and can score you goals.”
