Barcelona boss hints that he will not replace Neymar

Gerard Deulofeu could be Neymar’s full-time replacement at Barcelona as manager Ernesto Valverde suggested the club will work with what they’ve got.
Deulofeu scored one goal and provided two assists for his team-mates in a fine performance during a friendly match against Chapecoense and has done himself no harm in making a case to start for Barca this season.
Neymar joined Paris Saint-Germain last week for £198million and the Catalans have since been linked with moves for Philippe Coutinho and Paulo Dybala.
However, Valverde admits their transfer business is “up in the air” and is prepared to work with what he has available.
“He (Neymar) has been a great player for Barca, but he is no longer here and we have to look forward,” said Valverde.
“I am not interested in looking back. We have to look at the players we have and solve problems that can arise to win matches.
“At the moment, I have some players in the team who are performing well for me.
“We will see if anything develops. We know that this club, like every other club, moves accordingly to the market.
“I am focusing mainly on what I have, the rest is up in the air.”
