Barcelona are ready to make forward Ousmane Dembele available for transfer this summer amid links to Man Utd, according to reports.
Jadon Sancho has been consistently linked with a move to Man Utd, with other European giants also said to be interested, but there are rumours he could prove to be too expensive.
Dortmund are asking for €120million for Sancho, who left Manchester City in 2017, but United are said to be unwilling to offer more than £50million, which is unlikely to be enough to get him.
And The Athletic recently claimed that Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele ‘could be a less expensive alternative to Sancho’ this summer.
Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness) agree and they suggest that Barcelona could accept as little as €60m for Dembele, who has only made nine appearances in all competitions for the Catalan giants this term.
The Spanish newspaper add that interest from Man Utd is ‘not new’ and that they wanted to be ‘very sure’ over Dembele’s fitness before pursuing any deal.
The La Liga side are now ready to allow him to leave with the club concerned with his injury issues, while they believe he could block their promising youngsters from making an impact in the first team
