Thomas Muller has been banned for both of Bayern Munich’s Champions League last-16 games with Liverpool.
Bayern travel to Liverpool for the first leg of their tie in February, with the second coming at the Allianz Arena three weeks later.
Muller will not feature however, having been handed a two-game ban by UEFA for trying to karate kick someone’s head off.
The forward took great exception to Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico’s head being attached to his neck, and has finally been punished for it.
