Kingsley Coman reportedly parted ways with Pini Zahavi after the super-agent failed to secure a move to Chelsea or Manchester United from Bayern Munich in the summer.

Coman is said to have signed a ‘mandate’ with Zahavi for the summer of 2021, with the Frenchman angling for an exit from the Bundesliga club, according to Fussball Transfers (via Sport Witness).

The winger wanted to ‘sound out the market’ and hired Zahavi for a limited time in an attempt to secure a move to the Premier League.

But Zahavi only managed to ‘gather a few expressions’ of interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, failing to convince either club to make an official offer.

Having failed to carry out Coman’s wishes, the pair have parted ways.

Coman’s current deal with Bayern expires in 2023 and there is no expectation from the club for him to agree an extension.

The report adds that a sale next summer is therefore the ‘most plausible’ scenario, while Spanish outlet AS claim the German giants are ‘desperate’ to sell the forward to avoid a case like David Alba, who joined Real Madrid for free in July.

Meanwhile, Juventus star Giorgio Chiellini says he “adores” Chelsea-linked defender Matthijs de Ligt, claiming the “real difference” is his mentality.

“He looks like Thor and I hope he can be the successor to the BBC defence,” Chiellini said in reference to his partnership with Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Barzagli.

“If he had been Italian, it would’ve been easier to keep hold of him for many years. I hope Mino [Raiola] can do us a favour and leave him in Turin for a few more years.

“He has gigantic muscles and legs. But the real difference is made in his mentality. De Ligt is 22 years old, but has the mind of a 30-year-old who still wants to improve himself every day.

“I adore him, having seen De Ligt both as an opponent and then a teammate. He’s really great.”
