Southampton full-back Ryan Bertrand has picked out Manchester United’s two most dangerous players ahead of their game on 29 November.

The Saints have made a fantastic start to the new season. They sit fourth in the table after eight Premier League games.

They are six games unbeaten in the league and this run includes victories over Aston Villa, Everton and Newcastle United.

Manchester United meanwhile have made an unsteady start to the new campaign. They are placed 14th after three defeats from their opening seven league games.

This includes defeats against Crystal Palace, Arsenal and the heavy loss at Old Trafford against Tottenham.

Man Utd’s defeat to Arsenal was followed up by a 2-1 loss in the Champions League to Istanbul Basaksehir. But they recovered well to these setbacks, beating Everton 3-1 at Goodison Park last time out.

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer side will travel to face the Saints at St Mary’s in their second game back after the international break.

Bertrand told Stretty News that he sees Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes as Man Utd’s most threatening players ahead of that game:

“Manchester United are a great club with great individuals, it will be a tough game for us.

“They have shown some inconsistency but when they get it right they have had some amazing results.

“The threat on the counter is their biggest threat. They have many great individuals, [Marcus] Rashford, [Bruno] Fernandes seem to be their top performers so far.”
