Arsenal have agreed a transfer fee with Monaco – thought to be in the region of £90m – for Thomas Lemar.
According to James Ducker of the Daily Telegraph, the two clubs have a agreed on a deal after Arsenal made a substantial new bid on Thursday afternoon.
The question is now whether Lemar will move to Arsenal, and forego a year of Champions League football, or stay put and engineer a move next summer.
The move would be a coup for Arsenal given the current uncertainty over Alexis Sanchez. Does this keep the wolf from the door?
I'm told that Monaco and Arsenal have agreed a fee for Lemar but that it's now down to the player to decide if he will go #AFC
