Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for AC Milan centre-half Leonardo Bonucci.
Jose Mourinho wants to strengthen his options in defence, despite spending over £60million on centre-backs since taking over at Old Trafford two years ago.
United were said to have drawn up an eight-man shortlist, while they have also been linked with Diego Godin.
Now, according to Duncan Castles on Yahoo, United are also pondering a move for Bonucci.
The Italy defender joined AC Milan for 42million euros last year as part of a huge summer of investment. But the San Siro side are facing the threat of expulsion from the Europa League this season after falling foul of Financial Fair Play regulations.
Bonucci, 31, spent seven seasons with Juventus before moving to Milan.
