Bournemouth have agreed a deal to sign Jefferson Lerma from Levante.

The Colombian midfielder will cost them £25m, breaking the club transfer record, which previously stood at £20m for Nathan Ake.

Sky Sports News confirmed that Lerma will travel to England this weekend to discuss personal terms and complete a medical.

Lerma, 23, played in all four of Colombia’s games at the World Cup, including a start against England in the Round of 16.

He has made 93 appearances for Levante in all competition, and will become Bournemouth’s third signing of the summer.
