Brighton set Bissouma asking price amid Aston Villa, Liverpool interest
Brighton & Hove Albion value Yves Bissouma at £50m this month amid reports linking the midfielder with a move to the likes of Aston Villa and Liverpool.
Over the past couple of months, Bissouma has been linked with a move to Liverpool. In September, it was reported that Jurgen Klopp’s side had agreed on a deal to sign him.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Aston Villa had joined the race to sign the midfielder. His current contract is due to expire in 2023.

The 25-year-old made the move to Brighton in 2018 from French side Lille. He penned a five-year deal and he has played over 100 times for the Premier League outfit across all competitions.
Bissouma has been one of their standout performers under Graham Potter as they sit ninth in the table. The Mali international is set to feature at this month’s African Cup of Nations.
The Athletic are reporting that Brighton would demand a fee of £50m for Bissouma to be willing to sell him this month.
Back in September, Bissouma said he believes that he is the best midfielder in the Premier League:
“I don’t want to be arrogant, but it’s me because in my head I am working to be the best.
“So I cannot say another name, I know in the Premier League there are so many good midfielders, but for me, it’s me because that gives me the confidence and the energy to work hard to show people I am here and I am Bissouma.
“I just want to be focused on football, to play in every game, every week to be good, to help my team win and the rest we will see.”
The player is happy at the club and he is only looking forward to this season with Brighton.
He added: “We are working to be in the top ten. I think for me we can finish in the top ten or maybe a little bit higher.
“So we just have to work towards that and we are working for that.”
