Burnley v Barnsley preview

Burnley boss Brian Laws is hopeful that defender Danny Fox will shake off a slight thigh strain and be passed fit.
The left-back limped out of the Clarets’ 3-3 draw at Sheffield United on Saturday but Laws is optimistic he will be passed fit to face Mark Robins’ side.
Defender Michael Duff missed the trip to Bramall Lane with a calf strain but he is also expected to be available to feature.
Defender Clarke Carlisle is still suspended and a number of Laws’ squad are suffering from the effects of a bug.
However, Laws hopes it will not prevent them from featuring against the Tykes as his side bid to extend their unbeaten home record.
Barnsley manager Mark Robins is expected to name an unchanged starting line-up as his side chase back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
Robins has no new injury or suspension problems following Saturday’s 3-1 home win over Nottingham Forest and is unlikely to tinker with his side.
Midfielder Jeronimo Neumann remains the only doubt due to a groin strain, while midfielder Jacob Butterfield gave Robins plenty to ponder after he stepped off the substitutes’ bench on Saturday to score the Tykes’ third goal.
Striker Chris Wood, on loan from West Brom, and Bobby Hassell both started on the bench on Saturday and may have to be patient.
