Ancelotti reveals trophy targets and talks Everton future
Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he would like to remain at Everton until at least 2024 and deliver ‘something special’ to the club.
The Italian manager signed a new four year deal with the Toffees last December and is a vital part of their new project.
They want to bring trophies back to Goodison Park after a hurtful 25 years without one.

Speaking to reporters recently, Ancelotti had this to say: “I would like to finish the contract [at Everton] because it will be the first time, apart from Milan where I spent eight years, that I have stayed more than two years [at a club].
“I would like to finish my contract here and win trophies with something special. At the moment, I feel good. I think the club feel good with me and when the relationship is good, you can continue without problem.
“The project this club has, excites me. To bring Everton back to the top is a big, big motivation for me.
“I would like to do this. If you go to Real Madrid, they ask you to win the Champions League. If you go to Everton, they want to win trophies, so it doesn’t change, the motivation stays the same.
“This is the motivation that makes me like my job.”
Ancelotti has won many trophies throughout his glittering career, including league titles in Germany, Italy and England.
He’s also won the Champions League three times, with both AC Milan and Real Madrid.
But the 61-year-old revealed that the motivation remains the same with every trophy.
He said: “I have to prove this because I have not won a trophy here but, for example, to win the Carabao Cup with Everton will bring to me, personally, the same emotion I had when I won the Champions League. Nothing changes.”
