Carra criticises one Man Utd man: ‘It’s like he’s towing a caravan’

Jamie Carragher picked out Nemanja Matic for criticism following Manchester United’s heavy 4-0 loss to Everton on Sunday.

United have now lost six of their last eight games in all competitions and this week’s visit from in-form, title-chasing rivals Manchester City seems the last thing they need.

And Carragher was surprised by Matic‘s performance as he is normally such a reliable player.

“Matic has been a really good player for Chelsea and Manchester United but he’s looked all over the place in his first game back,” Carragher told Sky Sports.

“It’s like he’s towing a caravan.”

Meanwhile, former United striker Louis Saha thinks their performance at Goodison Park was “disturbing”.

“It’s disturbing. It’s a really bad show of attitude,” Saha said.

“You see some heavy legs, not the right attitude when something is going bad.

“You feel like there is no reaction straight away, aggressiveness is not there, the pressing is half done.

“As a Manchester United fan I can’t understand what I’m seeing here.”
