Yannick Carrasco’s wife Noemie Happart claims Manchester United are very interested in signing the Belgium star.
The winger is currently being linked with a return to Europe having spent a year in China with Dalian Yifang.
Arsenal were said to be interested in the 25-year-old before it emerged that the Gunners were not pursuing any permanent transfers this month, but Happart reckons there are a number of clubs keen on her husband.
Speaking to RTBF, Happart said of Carrasco’s future: “Many things are happening. He’s been called by a lot of clubs. Many are interested.
“Yannick has received offers from Germany, Spain, England and Italy, but nothing really concrete. Nothing has been signed.”
Happart was asked whether Manchester United were among Carrasco’s suitors.
“Yes, they’re very interested,” she said.
“I won’t hide it from you, but nothing has been signed. In fact, Yannick and his side are leaving tomorrow for a training camp in Spain.”
