New low? Cech injured going up for corner

You might have heard the phrase ‘peak Arsenal’ before? Well forget about all that, and remember this.

In the final minute of their 2-1 home defeat to Swansea, Petr Cech went up for a corner. While up there, he injured his groin and will now miss the north London derby. Dear, dear me.

Arsene Wenger confirmed that Laurent Koscielny would also miss the game against Tottenham after he injured his calf.  Bloody hell.

“Cech got a muscular problem at the end of the game,” Wenger said after the game. He will not play on Saturday. I have full faith in Ospina.

“We won’t talk about the title tonight, I’m not in the mood,” Wenger continued. Funny that.
