Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri says he will talk to Ruben Loftus-Cheek in December about his future at the club.
The English international midfielder was left out of Sarri’s squad to face Arsenal last week, prompting reports that he would seek showdown talks with his new manager and a move abroad.
Sarri confirms that they have spoken but he claims he is in no hurry to speak again, saying: “I have spoken with him twice this week, after I spoke with the club.
“I think Loftus will remain with us, we can speak again about his situation, but I think only in December.”
Sarri also confirmed that Eden Hazard will stay at the club despite interest from Real Madrid, saying: “I think so. I am the coach of a very good team. I am the coach of a very great club.
“It’s so important that such an important club cannot sell a very important player without the possibility to buy another very important player at the same level.
“I think Eden will stay with us for all of the season.”
Hazard is expected to start this Sunday against Chelsea, but Sarri warned that he is only ready to play an hour of football after his World Cup exploits.
