Chelsea are reported to have made an enquiry to Juventus over the possibility of signing Gonzalo Higuain.

Juve are said to be open to the prospect of selling the Argentina striker having signed Cristiano Ronaldo in a deal worth almost £100million.

With Alvaro Morata being linked with AC Milan, new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is on the look out for another centre-forward.

Sarri worked with Higuain previously at Napoli prior to the 30-year-old moving to Juve in 2016.

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea have made an initial enquiry over the possibility of bringing the striker to the Premier League before the deadline on August 9.
