Chelsea will only let striker Armando Broja, who is on loan at Southampton, leave for £58 million in the summer.

The Albanian striker joined the Saints in the summer on a temporary deal until the end of the season and has impressed for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.

Gossip: Newcastle to sell seven and battle Man Utd for striker

The 20-year-old has scored nine goals for the Saints this season and his all round play has drawn interest from a number of clubs.

Southampton are reportedly keen on keeping him at St Mary’s, whilst the likes of Arsenal, West Ham and Newcastle have all be linked with a move.

There’s also interest from Europe with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund showing interest in the forward.

However, according to Tuttomercatoweb (via Caught Offside), Chelsea will only sell to player permanently for a fee of £58 million.

All of the premier League clubs linked with Broja are likely to bring in a new forward in the summer with Arsenal particularly desperate as Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah out of contract at the end of the season.

Elsewhere, West Ham have failed to bring in competition to Michail Antonio in the last few transfer windows, so are likely to move for a forward in the summer.

Newcastle will splash the cash again at the end of the season should they survive and Broja could be on their list to add more firepower to Eddie Howe’s squad.

Their is still the chance that Broja could return the Chelsea and break into Thomas Tuchel’s squad with the Blues current striker options struggling so far this campaign.

Meanwhile, former Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre has hit back at critics of Cristiano Ronaldo.

“It’s normal [that he gets criticism] because, with the name he carries, the expectation must be high, so it’s normal that he’ll get some stick,” Silvestre said (via The Mirror).

“The statistics this season are in his favour, especially with the team’s current form.

“It’s been a positive signing, even with the run of games where he hasn’t been scoring, but it happens. He’s Ronaldo… he’s not God!”
