Chelsea prepare swap deal for AC Milan keeper Donnarumma
Chelsea have had a busy summer to say the least. They’ve already signed Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chilwell for over £130 million.
They’ve also brought in Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr on free transfers to bolster their defence.
Frank Lampard’s summer spending might be about to continue, too.

According to Football Insider, Chelsea are preparing a huge move for AC Milan wonderkid Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The 21-year-old is one of the most valuable keepers in the world and has already made over 170 appearances for the Italian side.
The Blues want to bring Donnarumma to Stamford Bridge by offering Kepa Arrizabalaga in return.
The report reveals that Lampard wants to bring in Donnarumma on loan for a season to assess whether he would succeed in the Premier League.
If he impresses, Chelsea would then activate a clause to sign the player permanently.
Going in the other direction would be current Chelsea shot-stopper Arrizabalaga.
The Spaniard is out of favour at Chelsea after a run of poor performances.
He also has the worst save percentage in the league’s history, which is why Lampard is in search of his replacement.
Arrizabalaga would join Milan for a season on loan with the option to buy.
That means the two clubs would essentially be doing a swap deal involving the players.
Chelsea would have to pay a large sum to sign Donnarumma, but this way means that wouldn’t be until next summer.
That gives Lampard time to offload some of his squad, including N’golo Kante who has been told he can leave.
Marcos Alonso has also been linked with a move away from London.
The 29-year-old has previously been linked with a move to Newcastle, which could now happen following the arrival of Chilwell.
In addition to Donnarumma, the Blues are in talks to sign Declan Rice from West Ham and Kai Havertz Bayer Leverkusen.
If both of those transfers go ahead it would signal an impressive transfer window for Lampard.
