Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has “held talks” with Paris Saint-Germain, according to Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur.

The Belgium international has yet to commit to a new contract at Stamford Bridge with rumours consistently linking him with a move to Real Madrid as they look to replace Keylor Navas.

A source close to PSG told ESPN back in March that Courtois was aware of the French club’s interest in him and that he was open to any talks.

Despite the Blues ending the season on a high with victory in the FA Cup final on Saturday, Chelsea won’t be competing in the Champions League next season after finishing fifth in the Premier League.

And Terreur has hinted that PSG could be a likely destination for Courtois with the keeper having held talks with the Ligue 1 giants.

“He has held talks with PSG. PSG’s director of football has been in London to talk about the project with Courtois,” Terreur told Transfer Talk podcast.

“He could go back to Atletico Madrid if Jan Oblak leaves. At the moment I don’t see him signing a new deal with Chelsea unless he doesn’t get his transfer.”
