Inter Milan are looking to offload players to pursue the signing of Chelsea star N’Golo Kante, according to reports in Italy.

Antonio Conte, who won the Premier League with Chelsea in 2016/17, took over as manager of Inter in May 2019.

In that time, the Italian has already signed five players who have previously played in the Premier League. Romelu Lukaku, Christian Eriksen, Ashley Young, Victor Moses and Alexis Sanchez have all made the move to the San Siro.

It now looks like Conte is hoping to make that six with the signing of N’Golo Kante. According to CalcioMercato, Conte is willing to sell Ivan Perisic, Joao Mario and Dalbert Henrique to create the funds to sign Kante.

The report adds that Christian Eriksen, Milan Skriniar and Marcelo Brozovic are all also fighting for their futures.

Chelsea are unlikely to want to let Kante leave, as he has been a key player ever since joining from Leicester. The Frenchman has spent four years at Stamford Bridge, where he has made 170 appearances in all competitions.

Arguably his best season for the Blues came in his debut year under Conte in 2016/17. Kante shone as Chelsea won the league, and he was later named that season’s PFA Players’ Player of the Year.

Despite rumours circling around his future, Kante does still appear to be happy at Chelsea. In a separate report from Goal, the 29-year-old has insisted that he still wants to remain at Stamford Bridge moving forward.
