Chinese side prepare big offer for Spurs midfielder Dembele
Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele is reportedly set to leave the club in favour of a big-money move to China.
This is according to The Sun, who claim that Super League side Beijing Sinobo Guoan are planning a bid to land the 31-year-old.
Their report claims that Beijing tried to sign Dembele last February during the Chinese transfer window but ultimately failed.
Spurs apparently refused to sell Dembele then, but the fact he appears no closer to penning a new deal means the London club may be more open to allowing him to leave.
The Belgian international has a deal which runs until 2019, meaning he can sign a pre-contract with any foreign side in January.
Beijing Guoan are keen on bringing him in ahead of the start of their season in February, and will reportedly place a bid of between £8million and £10m.
A three-year deal worth £192,000 a week is also being prepared, the report claims.
