Philippe Coutinho says Bayern Munich has been “more of a family than my old clubs”.
Coutinho joined Bayern on a season-long loan this summer after his move to Barcelona failed to lift off.
The Brazilian won two La Liga titles and a Copa del Rey but struggled to settle or establish himself during 18 months in Spain.
A move to Bayern received approval from Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, with Coutinho suggesting that his new home at the Allianz Arena is “more of a family” than he experienced even at Anfield.
“The first few days they showed me the facilities, I met my teammates, the coaches,” Coutinho told Sky.
“Every day I feel a little better, I am very happy.
“Bayern are more of a family than my old clubs. I know there’s the atmosphere of Liverpool, but it’s even more of a family here.
“Thiago speaks Portuguese and helped me a lot in the first few days, especially in terms of communication.
“German is really difficult! But I’ve set myself the goal of learning a little.
“A few employees also speak Portuguese which makes it easier for me.”
