De Boer offered Crystal Palace job – Dutch reports

Frank De Boer has been offered the managerial job at Crystal Palace after the club astonishingly looked past Mike Phelan and Ryan Giggs.

The Palace job has been vacant since Sam Allardyce unexpectedly resigned and De Boer has been strongly linked along with Sean Dyche and Mauricio Pellegrino.

Now Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf claim that De Boer has been offered the job after years of being linked with Tottenham, Liverpool, Swansea City, Southampton, and Newcastle United.

His last job was a disastrous spell in charge of Inter Milan so a Palace side that belongs in mid-table is probably the best option available right now.
