Del Bosque: Salah wouldn’t get in Real Madrid side

Former Real Madrid coach and player, Vincente del Bosque, reckons that not one Liverpool player would get into Zinedine Zidane’s side.

The La Liga giants will take on the Reds in the final of the Champions League on Saturday with Los Blancos favourites having won the competition in both the last two years.

“Real Madrid have a great squad — they are the best club in Europe at the moment and must show that on Saturday,”Del Bosque told “El Partidazo” radio show.

“I don’t see even one Liverpool player who would improve Real Madrid, not even [Mohamed] Salah.”

However, left-back Marcelo had a more balanced view on Liverpool’s threats, picking out Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino as well as Salah.

“Every game is different and Liverpool aren’t just all about Salah,” Marcelo said. “They’ve also got Firmino and Mane.

“They’ve got several players who are capable of changing the complexion of a game, particularly in finals, and we’re aware that we can’t afford to focus on one single player.”
