Dembele ‘proud’ to extend Tottenham contract

Mousa Dembele has spoken of his pride at extending his Tottenham contract until 2019.

Dembele has emerged as one of the more important players at White Hart Lane under the tutelage of Mauricio Pochettino, featuring in 18 Premier League games this season.

The 28-year-old has extended his deal at Tottenham for a further three-and-a-half years, and the midfielder has told the club’s official website of his delight.

“I am very happy I’ve signed and I’m very happy to be part of our future. The way we’re playing, the way the club is developing, everything is very good and everyone wants to be part of this team and this club. That’s why I’m proud to extend my contract.”
