Dons seal title by~beating Bantams

Saturday’s victory at Valley Parade, courtesy of goals from Jude Stirling and Lloyd Dyer, was the Dons’ 18th on the road this season, equalling the record set by Doncaster 61 years ago.
Stirling put them in front after 14 minutes with a far-post header from Lloyd Dyer’s cross, before Dyer then scored a second goal three minutes later when Stirling’s long throw found him unmarked.
Bradford were reduced to 10 men after 38 minutes when Joe Colbeck was sent off for a foul on Dean Lewington and although Omar Daley put the Bantams back in the game with a goal a minute before half-time, they couldn’t force an equaliser in the second half.
