Dortmund aim dig at ‘disrespectful’ Arsenal on Auba

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has aimed a dig at Arsene Wenger over Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pursuit.

Arsenal are thought to be interested in a move for Aubameyang, with the club eager to replace the departing Alexis Sanchez.

Dortmund are thought to be holding out for up to €70million for the striker, whose behaviour has been criticised in recent weeks.

Wenger discussed Arsenal’s interest in Aubameyang on Thursday, while we are still looking for the catch.

“We find it disrespectful to speak about players of other clubs,” Zorc said.

“There is no contact from Arsenal. We assume that is because Arsène Wenger has enough on his own plate to take care of the performance of his own players.”
