Borussia Dormund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke says he is willing to discuss Jadon Sancho’s exit from the club.

Watzke claims Sancho is one of the best young players he has ever seen and has the potential to become one of the best “two or three players in the world”.

But the Dortmund chief admits it will be difficult to hang on to one of the most highly regarded young talents in Europe.

OPINION: Why is English football just carrying on regardless?

The 19-year-old has been linked with a host of Europe’s top clubs including Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid after lighting up the Bundesliga.

Watzke told RMC Sport (via the Daily Mail): “Jadon is a great, great talent, maybe the greatest talent in Europe currently of players under the age of 21.

“In my opinion, he has the potential to become one of the two or three best players in the world in the years to come.”

Watzke insists he has a good relationship with Sancho and will try to hold on to him as long as possible.

But he added: “If one day he comes to us and says that he wants to leave the club, then we’ll discuss it.”
