€30m-rated Liverpool target ‘arousing the interest’ of Bayern Munich

Liverpool target Ryan Gravenberch is reportedly ‘arousing the interest’ of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

It was first reported last year that Liverpool are interested in the 19-year-old. 

The midfielder has been an ever-present for Ajax since the start of the 2020/21 season. He has already played 91 times for his boyhood club.

Gravenberch’s form for Ajax coincided with him playing ten times for the Netherlands in 2021.

The player’s future at Ajax is in doubt as his current contract is due to expire in 2023.

German outlet Sport1 are reporting that Gravenberch is ‘arousing the interest’ of Bayern Munich. De Telegraaf add that ‘there is a long way to go before an agreement is reached’.

The Eredivisie winner is reportedly valued at €30m by Ajax.

Elsewhere, Arsenal legend Ray Parlour is “pleased” that Spurs managed to beat Manchester City 3-2 over the weekend as it has blown the title race wide open.

Eep Guardiola’s side seemed on an unstoppable march towards another title after a 15-game unbeaten run but an incredible 3-2 win by Antonio Conte’s men – inspired by two goals from City’s summer target Harry Kane – put Liverpool within striking distance.

Liverpool’s come-from-behind win against Norwich means that City’s lead at the top is down to six points, with the Reds holding a game in hand and the two sides still have to play each other.

Despite being an Arsenal fan, Parlour was pleased to see Spurs get the win at the Etihad to make the Premier League title race “really interesting”.

“I don’t think anybody gave them any chance of getting anything,” Parlour told talkSPORT. “To score three goals away at Man City was amazing. That was the performance of the weekend.

“I know Watford won and that was a good result, Burnley going to Brighton, but you have to say Spurs going to Man City.

“I’m pleased, in a way, because I want the title race to keep going. The more it goes on an Man City keep winning and you think will Liverpool slip up.

“Suddenly, it’s going to be really interesting. That Liverpool vs Man City game in April could be the crunch game.”
