Former player – and current pundit – Stan Collymore has called Ian Wright a c*** on twitter after a spat between the two escalated.
The argument started when Collymore criticised Wright and others in an interview with the Guardian.
“To be a black pundit you either need to be a comedian like Chris Kamara or Ian Wright – guys who have big pearly-white smiles and everyone loves laughing at – or Jermaine Jenas and Alex Scott, who are completely inoffensive,” Collymore said.
Wright responded by tweeting Collymore, cc-ing in the other targets of Collymore’s words:

That caused Collymore to lash out:
