Evans could leave West Brom for £3m in summer – report
West Brom defender Jonny Evans has a clause in his contract which means he can leave for just £3m in the summer if they are relegated, according to the BBC.
Evans has been the subject of interest from Arsenal, Manchester City and Everton, with the Baggies likely to demand a £20m-plus fee.
It was now emerged that West Brom have a difficult decision to make as relegation would mean they would lose one of their greatest assets for peanuts.
The Baggies are currently in the relegation zone after failing to hold onto victory at Everton on Saturday.
The BBC claim ‘no-one at the Hawthorns has any wish to push Evans out of the club’ but it is apparent that West Brom need firepower, with Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic the latest name to be mentioned.
