Everton have now reportedly jumped to the front of the queue to land Chelsea and Manchester United target Moises Caicedo.

That’s according to Diario Extra (via Sport Witness), with the title of their article reading ‘Moises Caicedo, between Everton and MLS’.

The report claims Everton and an unnamed MLS side have ‘entered the fight’ for the Ecuadorian, who’s also been linked to United and Chelsea.

Reports in Ecuador claimed the 19-year-old’s move to Old Trafford was ‘all agreed’, but other outlets have claimed there is ‘quite a way to go’.

On Tuesday, another outlet claimed Chelsea had made an approach for the Independiente del Valle midfielder.

And now, Diario Extra claim the Ecuadorian club are ‘waiting’ to see which club will put the most money on the table to secure Caicedo’s services, in the hopes of starting a bidding war.

Santiago Morales, the Independiente del Valle chief, has confirmed receiving two proposals for Ciacedo.

“We have received a proposal from a European club for (Caicedo). We are also looking at an MLS proposal,” he told Mundo Deportivo EC.

“Let’s hope that no later than Thursday we can close the negotiation for Moisés Caicedo,”Morales concluded.
