Former Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has been linked with a surprise move to reunite with Antonio Conte at Spurs.

The Argentinian is without a club at present, having left Boca Juniors in the summer.

Real baller Benzema the perfect striker and better than ever

Tevez is now 38 and despite being without a club for so long, has never officially announced his retirement from football.

It would now appear that he could be making a shock move back to the Premier League, to join Conte’s Spurs.

That’s according to Corriere dello Sport (via The Sun), who have revealed that the forward is set to arrive at Tottenham’s training ground next week to meet his former boss.

Tevez and Conte previously worked together at Juventus during the 2013-14 season.

However, Spurs are not to only club that are set to meet with the former Manchester United and Manchester City man, as he has already visited AC Milan, Inter and Juventus.

Elsewhere, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has urged his teammates to enjoy their quest for an unprecedented quadruple.

Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, Salah said: “We’ve never done four before. This season we are really close and we are in top form.

“We’ve won the last 10 games in the Premier League so we are in a good way, and hopefully we can win the next game.

“We look at this situation now and we just have to enjoy it. We can’t be in this situation and feel pressure. We just have to enjoy it and go for everything.”

“They are a point ahead and play at home. I think that gives them more of an advantage.

“However, we are experienced players now and we’ve played together for four or five years. We know how to play big games.

“Hopefully we will win the next game but if you ask me about advantage, they have more of an advantage because they are a point ahead and are at home.

“The most important thing for us is not to lose the game, but if we lose the gap is going to be bigger.

“The manager talked to us today and just said enjoy the moment and just go for it.”
