Dimitar Berbatov has revealed his admiration for Arsenal’s strike partnership ahead of the north London derby.

Berbatov scored 27 Premier League goals in two seasons for Tottenham before moving to Man Utd for £34million in 2008.

“I f***ing love Aubameyang and Lacazette.” Berbatov told Betfair.

“I like watching them play and their partnership is blossoming. The way they play off each other and the goals they score, their quickness and sharpness is unbelievable.”

“I think nobody should take Arsenal lightly anyway because they are still Arsenal.”

“Ok, they haven’t won the Premier League for 15 years, but at some point a time will come when it will be their season.”

Arsenal host Spurs on Sunday after losing 3-1 to Liverpool last weekend.

Spurs head to the Emirates after a disappointing display in their 1-0 loss to Newcastle, with speculation around Christian Eriksen’s future unsettling the dressing room.

The Bulgarian striker also spoke up about the penalty fiasco at Man Utd.

He said: “There is nothing to worry about, these things happen all the time.

“I have been there, when I wanted to take a penalty but someone else took it and the other way around. This is normal in football.”
