Cesc Fabregas has denied claims that he is the orchestrator of an ‘anti-Jose Mourinho’ player revolt at Chelsea.

Claims broke on Monday that a number of Chelsea’s players had grown tired of manager Mourinho after a sixth defeat in 11 Premier League games against Liverpool on Saturday, with Fabregas as the orchestrator.

However, the former Arsenal midfielder has denied such reports, saying he is “extremely happy” at the club despite playing extremely poor.

“I would like to clarify that contrary to a few reports form some online websites, I am extremely happy at Chelsea,” Fabregas wrote on Twitter.

“I have an excellent relationship with the manager. There may be certain individuals from the outside trying to destabilise this club but I strongly believe that we will bounce back and come good again.”
