Manchester United man sneaks on top 10 most valuable teenagers list led by Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham, unsurprisingly, tops the list, though he’ll fetch a lot more this summer. Premier League representation comes from Manchester United and Southampton. Liverpool also featured but Harvey Elliott is no longer a teenager…
Here are the 10 most valuable teenagers in world football, according to Transfermarkt.
1) Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund)
Age: 19
Transfermarkt have Bellingham’s value pitched at €120million – they put only Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe above him – and that feels like the starting price for a phenomenon. Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester City are his suitors so ‘dispassionate’ logic dictates that he will choose the latter.
2) Gavi (Barcelona)
Age: 18
Pablo Martín Paez Gavira is the reigning Golden Boy and Kopa Trophy holder. The buy-out clause in his Barca contract is said to be worth €1billion. But, by all accounts, the lad still can’t tie his shoelaces.

3) Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen)
Age: 19
Wirtz missed the World Cup through injury but has since returned to action with a flurry of assists for the German club. It’s been enough to attract the attentions of Newcastle United and Liverpool.
4) Alejandro Balde (Barcelona)
Age: 19
Barcelona’s and now quite possibly Spain’s first-choice left-back before he even hits 20. Has five La Liga assists this season – the highest of any teenager in the top five leagues.
5) Giorgio Scalvini (Atalanta)
Age: 19
Barring goalkeeper, possibly the trickiest position for any teenager to break through is centre-half but Scalvini has done just that at Atalanta and has been rewarded with a handful of Italian caps. Juventus are among the clubs watching with interest.
6) Xabi Simons (PSV Eindhoven)
Age: 19
He joined PSV from PSG on a free transfer last summer but the French side were clever enough to include a buy-back clause that they would now quite like to trigger after his glut of goals and assists for Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side. But Simons is not daft and is apparently not keen on returning to Paris.
7) Youssoufa Moukoko (Borussia Dortmund)
Age: 18
Another German and this one has recently committed himself to his club, ending reported interest from Liverpool and Manchester United among others. Sidelined by an ankle injury in February, he has not scored since November.
8) Rayan Cherki (Lyon)
Age: 19
The only question is how long it takes for PSG to come up with enough money to tempt Lyon to sell the French winger.
9) Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United)
Age: 18
Manchester United are said to be offering to multiply his salary by 10 if he signs a new deal. They absolutely do not want to lose their reigning Young Player of the Year.
10) Romeo Lavia (Southampton)
Age: 19
The Saints midfielder is one of three talents valued at the same €25million price, with Benfica’s Antonio Silva and Chelsea’s new-ish signing Malo Gusto the others. Chelsea would have happily paid double that amount after Lavia dominated their midfield at the start of the season but Saints resisted. Which they’ll struggle to do again from the Championship.
