Club legend urges Real to keep Ramos amid Man Utd rumours
Real Madrid have been urged to offer Sergio Ramos a new contract by club legend Fernando Hierro.
The Spanish centre-back, 34, has been heavily linked with a Bernabeu exit in recent months.
Manchester United, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are all keeping tabs on the defender.

His contract looks set to expire in June, meaning the three sides can sign him on a free transfer.
Los Blancos are unwilling to give Ramos an improved contract due to his age.
They want the legendary defender to take a pay cut to offset the financial implications of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Reacting to Ramos’ situation, former defender Hierro said (via Goal): “I think we are very similar, by character, by way of being. We also have a very good relationship.
“Sergio is a legend of Real Madrid and hopefully he will finish his career at this club. I believe that players like him should finish in a great club.
“In the sporting aspect, he has conditions that I did not have and for me he is the best centre-back in the club’s history.
“That is clear to me because of everything he has represented and I am happy for him, without a doubt.”
Ramos has been a stalwart at the back for Real since joining from Sevilla in 2005.
He’s won four Champions League medals and five La Liga titles.
However, Real want to usher in a new era by focusing on younger players.
They’ve offered Ramos a reduced contract worth £11.1million for one final season.
He rejected that deal after setting his demands at a huge £13.4million.
Ramos isn’t the only defender to be linked with a move to Old Trafford.
His centre-back partner Raphael Varane could also be on the move this summer.
The Frenchman is wanted by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to partner Harry Maguire.
