Adrien Rabiot has opened up on his target of returning to the Premier League in the near future.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Rabiot has regularly been linked with a move to England, where he spent a year with Manchester City as a youth player.

Arsenal and Manchester United are those most commonly credited with an interest in the Frenchman, who has struggled at times to establish himself in Ligue Un.

Although the 21-year-old has started each of PSG’s opening three games this campaign, he started just 19 as they sauntered to another title last season.

Discussing his future, the France youth international admitted that he would one day relish a return to the Premier League.

“I really liked my time in England and the life there, even outside of football,” he said. “I told myself that I will return one day. I have always had the desire to play in England, it is in me. The Premier League… that is football!

“Of course I am very happy at PSG and I would like to stay for a long time, to grow with the club and to become captain of the team one day, but we cannot predict how things can turn out.”
