ALEXIS TO PSG
We can start in only one place and that is with Alexis Sanchez leaving Arsenal this summer. The consensus is that he is bound for PSG, who are apparently willing to pay him £300,000 a week as they bid to join Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich as a true European force.
Juventus retain a long-standing interest in Sanchez but the Daily Mirror say ‘he is reluctant to go back to Italy – while he would only return to Spain if it was a huge offer, amid doubts over Atletico Madrid’s interest’.
You can read more here about his alleged bust-up with Arsene Wenger and some of his Arsenal teammates that led to him being dropped for Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.
KNOWING ME, KNOWING YOU, ZAHA
It looks like Tottenham will finally land Wilfried Zaha this summer, with the Daily Mirror claiming that Mauricio Pochettino is ‘confident’ that the £30m-rated winger will become a Spurs player after failed moves in the last two transfer windows.
Zaha can expect a significant increase on his £40,000-a-week wages as well as the chance to play genuinely attacking football at Tottenham, who really do need an injection of pace. RB Leipzig are also said to be interested in Zaha but the Crystal Palace winger will opt for the short hop across London.
