AUBA IN, STURRIDGE OUT AT LIVERPOOL
Now we don’t believe for a minute that the rugby league writer Neil Fissler exclusively knows that Liverpool want Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but his story in the Sunday Express certainly has some credence because this is a move that would appear to suit all parties: Aubameyang wants out of Borussia Dortmund, Klopp needs an out-and-out striker he can trust and the pair had a great relationship in Germany.
There is no fee mentioned, but there is talk of Daniel Sturridge leaving for AC Milan, which would be proper lovely and so much more fun than West Ham. The same report also suggests that Liverpool may move for a keeper this winter. Which is clearly nonsense.
Honestly don't want LFC to pay some super extortionate fee and wages to Aubameyang, just buy some centerbacks in January. They're literally all injured or playing on painkillers.

YOUR PRICE FOR DANNY ROSE: £45M
According to the back page of the Daily Star Sunday, Tottenham are willing to sell Danny Rose to Manchester United next month for £45m. Rose is clearly off Mauricio Pochettino’s Christmas list; after playing against Leicester in midweek, he was back on the bench for the clash with Watford on Saturday.
Manchester City are also said to be interested in Rose, while this particular report amuses us by throwing in the option of Everton. Because of course he will want to leave Tottenham for Everton.
SO WHO WILL SAM BUY?
Maybe it might be easier to start discussing who Sam Allardyce won’t buy, as he is likely to get a big old transfer kitty at Everton next month.
Well of course he needs a big striker so ESPN say that Troy Deeney could be that man, while the Sunday Mirror repeat the Deeney claim but also throw in the name of Steven Nzonzi, the former Blackburn and Stoke midfielder who Allardyce famously tried to turn English. He could cost £20m or £25m, depending on who you believe.
According to the Mirror: ‘He also wants to bolster his defence, with West Brom’s Jonny Evans and Crystal Palace left-back Patrick van Aanholt on his radar.’
AND THE REST
Chelsea would rather let Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois leave for free when his contract ends in summer 2019 than sell him to Real Madrid at the end of this season…Man City have not given up on signing West Brom and Northern Ireland centre-back Jonny Evans…Manchester United have joined Arsenal and Barcelona in showing interest in Schalke and Germany midfielder Leon Goretzka…Crystal Palace have made an approach for 27-year-old Germany keeper Kevin Trapp, who is out of favour at Paris St-Germain.
