BARCA TO OFFER GRIEZMANN IN NEYMAR SWAP
Antoine Griezmann has barely got his feet under the table at Barcelona but already there is talk of the France star being shipped off.
Because Barca blew the budget on him this summer, they weren’t able to re-sign Neymar. And it seems they won’t have enough money next year either.
So, according to Le10Sport, the solution is to chuck Griezmann into a package that could tempt PSG into selling the world’s most expensive player
Details are extremely thin on the ground but the suggestion is that Barca are willing to give up Griezmann to re-sign a player who was desperate to leave a couple of years ago.
MAN UTD TRACKING TWO MORE STRIKERS
Which strikers are Man Utd being linked with today? Funny you should ask…
Marca reckons the Red Devils are watching Mexico forward Juan Macias, who has inevitably been dubbed ‘the new Javier Hernandez’.
Macias belongs to Guadalajara but the 20-year-old is currently pulling up trees while on loan at Club Leon. The centre-forward also bagged on his Mexico debut.
The Mirror claims United are also keeping an eye on Aleksandr Sobolev, who plays for PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara. We promise that we haven’t made up any of those words.
SPURS EYE ERIKSEN REPLACEMENT
United have been linked with James Maddison for months now. The Mirror says the Red Devils are confident of completing a £60million deal for the playmaker next summer.
But they might have competition from Tottenham. Apparently, Spurs have identified the 23-year-old as the ideal replacement for Christian Eriksen.
Spurs were keen on Maddison this summer but opted against making Leicester an offer, believing that Eriksen could be persuaded to sign a new deal.
AND THE REST
Chelsea are hopeful of Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham signing new deals this month… Man City have no interest in Martin Odegaard… West Ham are keen on Bolivia midfielder Daniel Camacho… Ashley Williams is a target for Anderlecht… Sol Campbell and Henrik Larsson have been interviewed for the Southend manager’s job.
